Nick and Mel's wedding day is one that I will never forget. I was so lucky to be able to attend this wedding as a second shooter along with Emily Hermus. This gorgeous couple was a family friend of hers, and the perfect wedding to kickoff this exciting new stage in my photography journey. I am finally taking the leap into wedding photography as the LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER! It has been something that I have wanted to do for quite some time, but I just knew I would not be able to take on the work load until I left my 9 to 5. Now that photography is my full time gig, I am feeling confident and ready for this new chapter! Capturing couples has always been something I enjoy. From engagements to maternity sessions, and now WEDDINGS!
It was such a beautiful day! Just a little chilly, but with all that love in the air, I could hardly feel the cool breeze. I did not know know the couple before meeting Emily for this wedding, but after spending the day with them and their families, I felt like I had known them forever. Between the good company and the great food, everything else about this wedding was picture perfect. The barn, the decorations, the ceremony location, the winding trails through the fields. Everything was just so darn dreamy. I will be forever grateful to Mel, Nick, and Emily for the extraordinary experience.
